Family photos in the fall in Calgary

Fall in Calgary, Alberta is such a beautiful time to take family photos. Not only are the colours really beautiful, the light is generally warmer and less harsh. Although when Kevin and Victoria and their three beautiful kids and I met up, the day was overcast and chilly, we still had a great time exploring.

When I photograph a family I like to make sure that I include plenty of group shots, but also have some candids of the individual children to capture their unique expressions and personalities. These kids were so much fun to work with.

I always look forward to seeing Kevin and Victoria every year because their children are friendly and delightful and I’ve loved seeing how they’ve grown over the years because they only get more adorable.
