Theo couldn’t have been born into a more loving family. Roger and Elaine and big brother Adrian were delighted to welcome the newest member of their family into their heart and their arms. We recently met up for a candid newborn photography session in their home.

I really enjoyed how quietly excited and intrigued Adrian was by his little brother. I can just see these two growing up and having the best time together. Is there anything cuter than two brothers? I don’t think so. Plus, Theo’s cute little head of hair was so adorable.

I love to photograph newborns in their home in a natural setting instead of with elaborate props and poses. My goal is always to capture the gentle gaze of a new parent without any distractions. I do this because the photos I cherish the most from my childhood are those that show the emotions of my parents as they played with me or held me in their arms. Those are the photos that truly stand the test of time.
