My daughter Ruthie and her cousins

My daughter Ruth was born this past summer and what a delight she has been to me. She has filled me with love beyond what I had imagined. Her personality is so happy and cheerful and she lights up a room with her smile. Of course, I’m her mom and I think she’s pretty awesome, so I may be biased.

I recently did an impromptu shoot with some of her cousins over Christmas to document her fun new hat. I asked these boys to sit with her for a picture and hilarity ensued as they let loose and just had fun.

I love this series of photos because it’s just a group of kids having fun together. Instead of a static photo of them all looking at the camera, these images really capture their unique personalities and I love that.
