Family Photos Make the Best Christmas Gifts

I recently met up with Kari and David and their five children for an evening Calgary family photography session exploring their neighbourhood and taking some family portraits at the same time. This group was so fun, there was so much laughter and joking around. (I believe families with lots of children have the most fun, but I may be biased because I am from a family of five children as well).

Kari and David are such kind and fun parents, it’s clear their children mean the world to them. It was a bittersweet time as we met together right before their two oldest were leaving, one to pursue travel and adventure and another going out of the country for university. Kari was so happy to have all her kids together and to get some family pictures to use as Christmas gifts. Photos really do make the best presents and after all, it’s never too early to prep for the holidays.
